DescriptionThe dark clouds hanging over Angram Common and the limestone ridge of Hangingstone Scar set the scene for Gresley 'K4' No.61994 'The Great Marquess' heading the return 'Fellsman' charter to Lancaster from Carlisle over Ais Gill viaduct on 8th August 2012. Ais Gill beck, in the gully below, runs off the southern face of Wild Boar Fell situated behind, at 708 metres above sea level and in the County of Cumbria, although Angram Common in the shadows beyond the train is in the County of North Yorkshire.
