Description

Descending down from the top of the secondary structure, I grabbed this pic while standing on one of the ladder platforms, shooting west, directly into the wind. Since this was a more exposed position, the wind seemed much stronger and was still throwing water into my lens although I was just below the thick section of fog.
Built in 1947, the crane at Hunters Point has survived quite a few earthquakes and constant wet salty conditions, and shows the signs of it when up close.
