Description

A cowmother or a Cow Momma would be too outre. Cowboys is an acceptable term and so is a cowgirl but this family fails to fit into that.
This was shot in Toranmal.
In the extreme northern end of Maharashtra abutting the state of Madhya Pradesh is a land cut off from the influences of the urban Indian state. The region of Toranmal is not so fully cut off that stray visitors can make occasional forays into its vast mountainous areas where even the writ of the Government does not run large and no functionary of the State government may have visited the interiors in the last 100 years. Distances are measured in units of "a day's walk" or more.
