I went to the Art Shanty Projects last weekend on Medicine Lake in the Twin Cities suburb of Plymouth, MN. The ASP is a combination sculpture park and artist community event inspired by all the ice fishing houses that appear on Minnesota's frozen lakes this time of year. Artist design and show off all different kinds of creative interactive structures that are on display over a 4 weekend period.

This robo theme shanty is called 'Robot Reprise', visitors can crawl inside the bot, move the body and arms around, spy through a periscope mounted on it's head, and shoot rockets out its hands.
