The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea in the UK. Providing 24 hour lifeboats and seasonal lifeguards as well as advice on how to avoid getting into trouble in the first place, the RNLI is an independent charity, funded by voluntary donations. Today is RNLI SOS Day: join in with the RNLI’s biggest fundraising day to show your support for our volunteer lifeboat crews and lifeguards.

As I'm sure some of you will know, the RNLI is a charity that I fully lend my support to. We have been involved with fundraising for the RNLI since 2007 and will continue to do so. Without the RNLI there would be a lot more lives lost at sea. They are a wonderful charity at the heart of our industry.
