I'm honestly very proud of this picture, partly because it was the largest expansion I've ever done, and also because for once I didn't just say, "oh man I wish I had my camera" when I saw this scene. I actually ran across the beach, up some stairs, to my car, drove home, called a few people, drove back and got the shot done. Tide pools are my new favorite things in the world, they seem so calm, but they're so full of life and I love to explore them. Amanda was a great model, she takes direction very well and isn't afraid to make suggestions or speak her mind. Using the blanket was her idea:)
