• "GeorgeAlthough Im sure 200 film is a bit grainier than a lower iso flim, I have never thought of it as being too grainy although my eyes are not so great on detail anymore. That said, my guess is that it is not the processing. I just looked at the original scan on my computer and it definitely has less grain than the uploaded image. From the original slide film, you have negative impact of the scan quality, then the software capacity you view it on. I would guess each step detracts from the original. There is a company that is doing very high quality, resolution scans, but the are about 40 each. I paid 4 for this one. Take a look at my photo titled Tilly. I shot that on Ektachrome 200. On my computer I dont see any grain. Love to hear your thoughts. I do have a roll of Kodachrome on its way for processing and those should be really clean!"
