Yesterday I finally got a chance to sit down with my bosses and look through all the crap I have shot during my six months on the road. They just LOVED this shot. The big boss tries not to act too excited about any of my photos, presumably so I don't ask him for more money, but he really liked this one a lot. So, this is the second photo of mine that he has liked. He really liked a photo I shot of the Chicago skyline back in September. September 2007! So… Once every 2 1/2 years isn't bad! He said that they have been keeping me on board for the past 2 1/2 years in hopes that I would eventually take another good photo. So… Here it is! A photo that my boss actually likes.
This was a nighttime, time exposure shot by moonlight of Lake Powell, taken from Alstrom Point. There was a full moon that night. Notice all the houseboats parked down there. I count about 15 of them.
