One of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. That day, the colors were simply exceptional.
We were travelling from Sykkylven to Trondheim. Almost half way, shortly after crossing Straumsundbrua, connecting Aspøya to the mainland, the sunset reached a climax and we had to stop to capture the wonderful and magic display of colors.
The Straumsundbrua bridge is half way between Gjemnessund bridge and the ferry harbor at Kanestraumen. It is part of the road system "Krifast", connecting Kristiansund to the mainland and shortening the part of E39 that is the main road between Molde and Trondheim.
There is absolutely no processing here, not even a crop.
This photo is a cooperation between me and my son. He looked throught the finder, composed the photo and pushed the button. I was the owner of the camera, chose the best shot, decided not to process it and told my son that the photo was good. And, yes, I stopped the car and told him to open the car window and shoot.
It was very cold outside, -15 C, so we stayed in the car.
